History...
The two main stained glass windows were originally installed back to front and the wrong way round. In 2019 a very generous member of the congregation organised and paid for a complete refurbishment and reinstallation of these windows the correct way round. She also researched the history of these windows and a copy of this history can be found in the church.
In 2012 a new window was installed to celebrate the church’s Tercentenary.
According to the legend the Irish Saint Bride was transported by
the angels miraculously to Bethlehem to attend the nativity of Christ.
The design of the window by the late Richard Le Clerc has one
of the angels passing over the hills of Arran
with the seals & oyster catchers in the background.
